WSQ Develop A Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2) as WSQ Workplace Safety and Health Control Measures
The WSQ Develop a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2) course trains participants to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement WSH control measures. It supports organizations in achieving bizSAFE certification and ensuring workplace safety compliance. This program fosters a proactive safety culture for risk management.
On completion of this course, learners will acquire the knowledge and skills to be a Risk Management Champion for the organisation in reducing risks at source by managing the risk management process at workplace and for recognition of bizSAFE level 2 by Workplace Safety and Health Council.
It involves creating a practical risk management plan that outlines specific actions, responsibilities, and timelines for completion. It includes forming a risk management team, conducting risk assessments, controlling and monitoring risks, and communicating them effectively. All processes adhere to the Risk Management Code of Practice (RMCP) standards.

1. WSQ Employability Skills Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 5; or
2. GCE O Level or Equivalent.

- On completion of this unit, learners will acquire the knowledge and skills to be an RM Team Leader/Risk Management Champion for the organization in reducing risks at source by managing the risk management process at the workplace.
Learners will be able to;
- Verify the expectations of a risk management champion with a relevant person in accordance with the organizational Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policy.
- Form a risk management team based on organizational WSH policy and in compliance with WSH (Risk Management) regulation requirements.
- Establish hazard identification methodology for the workplace to identify WSH hazards associated with any work activity or trade.
- Establish a risk assessment methodology for the workplace to determine the risk levels of the identified hazards associated with any work activity or trade.
- Establish risk control measures methodology for the workplace to manage the identified risks to a level as low as reasonably practicable by following the principles of the hierarchy of control.
- Develop a workplace risk management plan to implement hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control measures in accordance with organizational WSH policy.
- Present the risk management plan to relevant stakeholders for consideration in accordance with organizational procedures.
- Communicate the identified hazard, risk evaluation, and implement risk control.
- Understand and adhere to SG Secure program and requirements.
