Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)
In accordance with Workplace Safety and Health (Workplace Safety and Health Officers) Regulations, the following workplaces must have a MOM-registered Safety Officer: shipyards, petroleum processing factories, factories with contracts over $10M, and factories with 100+ employees (excluding garment manufacturing).
Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator (WSHC)
Worksites are required to appoint WSH Coordinators.
A Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator must be appointed for every worksite where the contract sum for building operations or engineering construction works is less than $10 million.
Fire Safety Manager (FSM)
Buildings that require a SCDF-registered Fire Safety Manager include public buildings with 9 or more storeys (including basements), an occupant load of 1,000 or more, or a floor area of 5,000 sqm or more. Industrial buildings with 1,000+ occupants or 5,000+ sqm/site area, foreign employee dormitories with similar criteria, and hospitals also fall under this requirement to ensure proper fire safety management and compliance with regulations.

Building requiring a Senior Fire Safety Manager
All public or industrial buildings that satisfy any of the following conditions are required to appoint a Senior Fire Safety Manager:
- Buildings with an occupant load of 5,000 persons or more.
- Buildings with 31 storeys or more in height (including any basement).
- Buildings with a gross floor area of 50,000 square metres or more.
- Buildings with a basement storey having a floor area of 10,000 square metres or more.
- Buildings where fire safety works are carried out according to a plan that uses an alternative solution, which the Commissioner may reasonably determine to be complex.
