Key Responsibilities:
Possess strong coordination skills and solid technical knowledge of M&E systems, equipment, and security systems.
Conduct regular site supervision and inspections, including off-site production, to ensure M&E works meet required quality, accuracy, and workmanship standards.
Monitor work progress against the Approved Master Schedule, including breakdowns to monthly, weekly, and daily programs.
Assist the Resident Engineer (RE) in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports on site progress, issues, and resolutions.
Verify contractor-submitted reports, variations, and progress claims, including as-built quantities for variations.
Ensure compliance with Singapore’s Building Control Act, Workplace Safety and Health Act, and other relevant regulations and codes of practice.
Review Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Safe Work Procedures for M&E works.
Coordinate with contractors and other stakeholders to resolve technical or coordination issues promptly.
Ensure all testing and commissioning activities for M&E and security systems are conducted according to project requirements and statutory standards.
Verify that as-built drawings and O&M Manuals submitted by contractors are accurate and complete.
Assist in inspections with authorities (e.g., BCA, SCDF) to obtain necessary clearances and certifications.
Attend coordination meetings and site walks, highlighting issues and proposing solutions to ensure smooth project execution.
Support quality assurance and SHEQ compliance on-site, reporting non-conformance and implementing corrective actions.
Undertake additional duties related to the project as instructed by the Superintending Officer (SO) and Resident Engineer (RE).
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
Registered with IES/ ACES as a Resident Technical Officer
Minimum 2 years of M&E work experience with strong knowledge of local construction practices air-conditioning, electrical, fire protection, security systems, BMS, plumbing, sanitary and gas services
Familiarity with the Local codes
Proactive and good team player
Good knowledge in Microsoft Office

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise major construction activities as the Resident Engineer (RE) for building works and civil infrastructure, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, applicable codes, and standards.
Conduct site inspections, attend meetings, and review drawings and method statements to ensure adherence to project requirements and accepted practices.
Perform independent design checks for temporary falsework and formwork support systems.
Maintain quality records of all works, monitor site progress, and prepare regular reports.
Review and provide comments on contractors’ submissions, including shop drawings, method statements, and material samples.
Oversee and enforce compliance with safety, environmental, and health standards in accordance with Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health Act, Environmental Protection and Management Act, and other regulations.
Station full-time on-site to support Senior Resident Engineers (SRE) and Qualified Person (Supervision) [QP(S)] in project delivery.
Collaborate with contractors and project teams to address and resolve technical issues or design discrepancies.
Verify that as-built drawings and O&M Manuals submitted by contractors are accurate and complete.
Monitor construction activities for compliance with statutory requirements, including building control, fire safety, and structural integrity.
Conduct testing and commissioning inspections as part of project handover.
Assist in managing inspections and audits by authorities such as BCA, SCDF, PUB, and NEA to obtain necessary clearances and certifications.
Support project teams in risk assessments, value engineering, and alternative design solutions to enhance project outcomes.
Ensure that temporary works comply with approved plans and safety standards.
Undertake additional duties assigned by the Senior Resident Engineer (SRE) or QP(S).
Requirements:
At least 5 years’ experience of Civil/Structural works.
Has good working knowledge of Civil and M&E works and Strong knowledge of Singapore building codes, regulations, and standards.
Proficiency in project management and construction supervision.
