Audit for WSH Performance Awards Submission
The WSH Performance Award Audit is a prestigious award given to companies and organizations that have successfully implemented strong Safety and Health Management Systems and demonstrate excellence in workplace safety and health. The award is open to all organizations in Singapore, irrespective of size or industry, and recognizes a strong commitment to safe work practices, better safety performance and a positive workplace safety culture.
The goal of the WSH Performance Award Audit is to evaluate an organisation’s adherence to the important elements of a successful Safety and Health Management System and to see if it fulfils the requirements for the WSH Performance Award. It assesses the effectiveness of organizational policies, risk management, and safety procedures for ensuring workplace safety across the organization.
A detailed site inspection, extensive document review, and interviews with key management staff and personnel involved in the business are included in the audit methodology. The assessments are carried out with the help of the standard checklist questionnaire published by the WSH Council to ensure that the process of assessing is objective, consistent, and transparent. The audit also confirms the strength of the organization’s safety management and their dedication to workplace safety and health excellence.
This audit is done by independent and professional WSH auditors accredited by the SAC from WSH auditing organizations. The audit scope includes the evaluation of the Safety and Health Management System, the X Factors Checklist, and the Evidence-Based Assessment, which offers an overall assessment of the organization’s safety performance and readiness for the WSH Performance Award.
